Scratchings

Alma Tavern & Theatre / Brace & Browns

Co-directed by Anna Whealing and Patrick Wilson

“I had them all, completely, utterly, in the palm of my hand. And my god did I want them.”

A stalker, a footballer and a party boy walk into a bar. They have stories and you want to hear them. An immersive explosion of dark comedy, this site-specific show leaves you feeling powerful, powerless and just a little bit voyeuristic. A series of monologues exploring themes of obsession, suppression, regret and rebellion. Performed amongst the tables in the back room of Bristol’s Alma Tavern, written by Millie Haldane.
